Hello again, and welcome to finding the alternative. Today’s subject is going to be about God the Mother. We will be looking at many different prophecies concerning how the WMSCOG proves God the Mother. If you would prefer to watch the video (1hr 51min) instead click here.
I really appreciate all the support I have received and I also appreciate all the hate as well in a weird way. Religion is complicated and messy and honestly it is ok to disagree. God gave us brains and reasoning abilities for a reason. If He wanted to make us mindless robots He could have just made us like the animals.
Also doesn’t Hosea 4:6 God’s people are destroyed from a lack of knowledge? Then why is the WMSCOG not wanting you to research and be knowledgeable? If God wants you to seek him and those who lack knowledge of him are destroyed, who do you think would be the one telling you not to research or seek him? God or Satan. Just saying.
Before we get into the subject, just know that all of you watching who either support, condemn or hate this channel or even me for that matter, I sincerely appreciate all of you and I care about you which is why I am continuing to do this.
That is what real love is, to love those who disagree with you and persecute you. If you don’t believe me, read Mt 5:44. If you are reading this article it means I haven’t had anyone try to shut me down yet so we are doing really well I would say. But if the sparks haven’t flown yet they might after this one.
Ok so what is the teaching of the WMSCOG regarding the belief of the New Jerusalem Mother?
The WMSCOG teaches that Ahnsahnghong, who is the Second Coming Jesus was on the earth, kept the Passover April 25, 1984 in the Dongbu Ceremony Hall in Seoul. He also had red and blue candles which in Korean culture symbolizes marriage. During the closing prayer of the Passover ceremony Ahnsahnghong let Missionary Zhang Gil Jah pray at the pulpit.
Then some time after the Passover, Ahnsahnghong took a photo in a white suit with Zhang Gil Jah who was wearing a white dress. Then just before Ahnsahnghong left to go on a train to China, he left Pastor Kim Joo Cheol his ceremonial robes and Zhang Gil Jah his books and writings. Therefore, she is God the Mother.
Now this whole story is shrouded in controversy and it is just a rabbit hole in and of itself. Also most of the evidence the WMSCOG presents for these claims is a reenactment video with actors and fuzzy polaroid. That is literally it. If you want, I have posted links in the description that show many things if you so choose to research it yourself.
You will find the minutes of the last general assembly before Ahnsahnghong’s death that says nothing about a God the Mother or that Zhang Gil Jah would be regarded as such. I will post the general assembly after Ahnsahnghong died where it was actually Kim Joo Cheol who declared Zhang Gil Jah is Mother God.
I will post a link showing that Ahnsahnghong never went to China but actually had a cerebral hemorrhage while eating noodles in his office, then was driven to A-Ju University Hospital and passed away the next day on February 25, 1985.
Also the reason why the last general assembly was held in Seoul in January 1985 is because Ahnsahnghong was trying to register the church officially. So if you are interested in analyzing these findings the link will be in the description.
However this blog post is not going to be about any of those findings because at the end of the day, even if all these contradictions and holes in the WMSCOG turn out to be true as evidence suggests, you will just dismiss it anyway. Plus I want to see what the bible itself says about God the Mother, since that is the most important part.
The things I have found in the blogs are definitely interesting and I say are very good evidence to refute the WMSCOG and honestly I believe the mountain of evidence that is presented.
However, since I had to translate it from Korean and since the topic itself is so controversial and tight-lipped and the WMSCOG doesn’t provide any evidence for their side story of what happened except for a fuzzy polaroid that has Ahn and Zhang standing together and reenactment video with actors, so it makes it hard to refute since there is no actual claim to refute in that regard to being with.
I will say though about photos being treated as “evidence”. Imagine this, ok, let’s say you are a billionaire and your friend is poor. You pass away unfortunately and leave all of your money behind. But then your friend goes to the state to try to take the money you left behind.
The judge asks you if there is any evidence like a written statement with signatures or will showing that the money should be given to you. Your friend pulls out a picture that you took with him last summer on vacation and says “here is the proof, we took a picture together, what more do you need?” Do you really think that is enough evidence for your friend to take your fortune, everything you built?
Well that is what the WMSCOG thinks. Since there is a photo of Zhang Gil Jah with Ahnsahnghong she is God and he left everything to her. Since Ahnsahnghong took a photo with Kim Joo Cheol, then he is General Pastor and is in charge of everything. Are they the only people photographed together with Ahnsahnghong?
What if someone comes and says actually Ahnsahnghong left everything to me and provides a photograph of themselves and Ahnsahnghong? Are you going to believe them? Why wouldn’t you? They have just as much evidence as Mother and General Pastor right, which is a photograph.
If that is all that it takes to be considered evidence of the transfer of authority then this person too should be taken seriously. Wouldn’t want evidence from this person making this claim such as a handwritten statement or a will or something? Why do you then not ask for evidence such as a handwritten statement or a will from Zhang Gil Jah or Kim Joo Cheol?
Now I know the WMSCOG will teach you something like “These are vicious rumors online about our Mother, if people spoke about your physical mom like this or questioned if your physical mom was really your mom, wouldn’t you stand up to them or ignore them? How can you stand before God confidently if you just remain silent why they blaspheme Father and Mother”
First off, I would argue the only rumors that exist in the WMSCOG are the rumors they themselves present as evidence or facts. Everyone else presents facts that contradict the WMSCOG and then the church paints the facts presented as if they are rumors. Every cult has this type of behavior.
Second, Let’s say you are walking and an older woman that you have never seen before comes up to you and says “Oh my son, how long have I tried to find you, how long I have sacrificed for you without rest. My son I have a big inheritance to give you and all I ask is only 10% of your income for the rest of your life” and proceeds to hug you, kiss you and shed tears. Would you not be the least bit skeptical? Would you not consider the possibility that this could be a scam?
Would you automatically accept her as your Mother and start giving her your money? Wouldn’t you want some really solid evidence that this person is who she claimed to be? Proof that she does indeed have an inheritance or an estate to give? How can you find the evidence if this person is your mom or not if you don’t look for it? Wouldn’t you want to analyze all the data before you come to the conclusion that she is your Mother and start giving her money?
Or would you just blindly accept that she is your Mother and consider her as such and start giving her 10% of your income for life, without looking through the evidence thoroughly?
If you wouldn’t do that to some strange lady off the street who approaches you. Then why do you do that with a heavenly Mother whom most of us have never really met except for a phone call every couple of years? If she is indeed God and our spiritual Mother and the bible does indeed testify about her, then when it is all said and done we will come to that conclusion won’t we?
Also what if let’s say someone came to you and said “Hey, I have found evidence that the person who claims to be your mom, really isn’t your mom and is lying to you.” Wouldn’t you want to know? I mean if the evidence is falsified or fraudulent then you will clearly be able to see the contradictions won’t you? You have nothing to lose and everything to gain from examining the information presented carefully. Then you could tell the one who presented these false claims a slanderer and a fraud right?
But what if the evidence turns out to be legit and accurate, wouldn’t you want to know? What is the harm of examining all the information carefully and then making your decision based on all the evidence on who your real Mother is.
I believe if either scenario happened to you physically speaking you would want to see the evidence either way. Then why would you not do that spiritually?
Again my whole purpose is presenting all the information, at the end of the day it is entirely up to you to decide who you want to believe in, follow and give your hard earned money to.
Another thing the WMSCOG will say is “Just like 2000 the religious leaders led people to focus on just the physical aspects of Christ so that they will lose their faith, things like “isn’t this the carpenter’s son, isn’t his Mother mary and don’t we know his brothers and sisters. How can he now say that he came down from heaven? Or when the Jews picked up stones to stone Jesus saying “because you a mere man claim to be God”. Thus the Jews rejected their savior and said let his blood be on us and our children.”
But here is the difference, in this article I say nothing of Mother’s humanity. I only examine alleged fulfillment of prophecy through the lens of scripture. What part of that is focusing on God’s humanity?
The other difference is the bible clearly and definitively testified to Jesus without a shadow of a doubt. All I am doing is seeing if the same is true of Zhang Gil Jah, that is all. I am not focusing on her humanity but rather trying to find the existence of her divinity in scripture. That is all. I have no problem with God being in the flesh or even being Korean. In fact the bible commands us to do this.
1 Thessalonians 5:19-22
“Do not quench the Spirit. Do not treat prophecies with contempt but test them all; hold on to what is good, reject every kind of evil.”
Acts 17:11
“Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.”
So according to the bible it is our duty to test the prophecy and examine the scriptures isn’t it? How do you accomplish what these verses tell us to do without examining prophecies through the lens of scripture and evidence? How else can you prove a prophecy true or wrong? Please tell me what the other way is?
The WMSCOG calls what I am doing slander, but what is slanderous about following the bible when it says test the prophecies and examine the scriptures to see if what the WMSCOG is saying is indeed true? Again I ask how else am I supposed to do that without examining the prophecies through the lens of scripture and evidence? If there is another way please let me know how to accomplish this.
Why is the WMSCOG trying to stop you from doing what the bible says is our God given duty to study the scriptures to check claims and test the prophecies to see if they are true? How else can you not fall into error? I can tell what will cause error, not study the scriptures to see if what people are saying is true and not testing the prophecies that are being presented, that is a sure way to fall into error.
Also the WMSCOG changes the definition of slander. Slander is a false statement or claim that harms someone's reputation by damaging their character. It's usually made orally, but can also be used as a verb to describe the act of making such a statement.
The key word here is false isn’t it? What is false about examining scripture or evidence to prove prophecies are true or wrong? That is what the bible literally tells us to do if we don’t want to fall into error. Again I ask how else are you supposed to determine if you are being told the truth or a lie if not through testing the prophecies and examining them through the scriptures? Seriously, give me another way.
The WMSCOG will also claim that just as 2000 years ago when Jesus was before the Sanhedrin and the chief priests were looking for evidence against him but they didn’t find any because many people falsely testified against him and their statements did not agree. The same is happening in this age but with our Mother being slandered online by evil people who would have rejected Jesus 2,000 years ago.
But how is looking at the claims of the WMSCOG through scripture, analyzing them and looking at the evidence to confirm what they are saying is true anything like that? I am not falsely accusing anyone of anything? I am merely looking at the WMSCOG prophecies, analyzing scriptural references and seeing if they check out. It is not even close to the same kind of situation at all.
Now I could see if God the Mother was clear as day in the bible and who she was is also crystal clear in the bible just like the bible obviously prophesied about Jesus and it is extremely clear who Jesus is, then someone tries to bring up her physical aspects to disprove her or makes up lies distorting what the bible clearly says about God the Mother then I could see this being applicable.
However that is not the case here. The WMSCOG tries to portray Jesus who is without sin or contradiction being wrongfully persecuted, falsely accused and finally sentenced to be hung on a cross for crimes he didn’t commit to being the same as people searching the scriptures and evidence to confirm if what the WMSCOG teaches and believes is biblical or true and when they find things that are proven lies or are not biblical with evidence they present their findings to let people know.
That is not even close to the same thing, that is like heaven and earth difference right there. The WMSCOG paints the people who find evidence and analyze scripture to find out if the WMSCOG claims or doctrine is true in such a manner. It is honestly dishonest and despicable.
Ok that is the end of my rant. Let’s focus on the biblical analysis of the teaching of God the Mother.
First the WMSCOG will teach you about the word Elohim. They will say that Elohim is used over 2500 times in the New Testament and that it is the Hebrew word for “God’s”. They say in Genesis chapter 1 verses when Elohim was creating everything, that it is actually God the Father and God the Mother doing this.
They also insist that the physical city of Jerusalem itself and what happens to Jerusalem is a prophecy of God the Mother. They use verses such as Isa 33:20, Isa 66:10-14, and 62:6-7.
The WMSCOG also teaches God the Mother is the source of living water by quoting Ezekiel 47 and Rev 22:17
Which also means that they believe she is the bride in the Revelation who is also the New Jerusalem coming down out of heaven. Rev 19:7, Rev 22:17, Rev 21:9-10 and Gal 4:26.
Finally they teach that God the Mother is the last Eve who is mother of all the living. Genesis 3:20
Also they used to teach that Mother will ascend to Heaven alive with the 144,000 who are also alive but we can’t talk about that anymore and I just got word that they never taught that, so I guess that settles that. So we will just skip over what they taught but also apparently didn’t teach.
They say Mother is the reality of the Most Holy place because of cubic measurements and only through Father who is the high priest can the Most Holy be revealed and since allegedly Mother was revealed by Father then she is the Most Holy place. Mother is the reality of the Ark of the Covenant because Jeremiah 3 says that they will call Jerusalem the ark of the Lord.
Last but not least and arguably my favorite. Revelation 4:11 that says all creatures are created by God’s will and have their being. Then what is God’s will in creation to give life? It is through Mothers. Also Hebrews 5:8 that says the sanctuary on earth is a copy and shadow of what was in heaven.
What about the Origin of Mother God doctrine?
First appearance of the theology of God the Mother occurs in the writings of Joseph Smith’s closest associates. These writings appeared shortly after his death in 1844 after he was murdered by a mob in Carthage IL. The most notable of these was a poem written by Eliza R Snow in 1845 entitled “My Father in Heaven” which was made into the hymnal now known as “O My Father” that is still sung in the church today.
The hymnal is 4 verses long but I am going to read excerpts from the 3rd and 4th verses. It reads and I quote.
“In heav’ns are parents single? No, the thought makes reason stare! Truth is reason; truth eternal tells me I’ve a mother there.”
Verse 4.
“When I leave this frail existence, when I lay this mortal by, Father, Mother, may I meet you in your royal courts on high? Then, at length, when I've completed all you sent me forth to do, with your mutual approbation let me come and dwell with you.”
End quote.
Also there was W.W.Phelps who wrote a hymnal in December 1844 with the title “A voice of a prophet: come to me”.
It reads and I quote.
“Come to me; here's the myst’ry that man hath not seen; Here’s our Father in heaven, and Mother, the Queen, Here are worlds that have been, and the worlds that yet to be, Here’s eternity- endless; amen: come to me.”
But then there is also the Reverend Moon who established the Unification Church on May 1st, 1954 in Seoul, Korea.
Moon writes in what is known as the Wolli Wonbon in 1951 about Heavenly Parents. He writes and I quote.
“Our original Father is the Eternal Father. He is looking for us because He loves us. When we come to know this Being and attend Him as our Father, and likewise when we know this Being and attend Her as our Mother, that is the time when the ideal of re-creation will commence on earth. We must know when this time is. We must have the experience of finding our Father and Mother once and for all.”
Lastly Moon writes
“We human beings must know why throughout human history we have related to God only as our Father and not as our Mother. We have not even thought about why God had to become the Father, but not the Mother. Further, we have not even considered that the fundamental meaning of God is as our Parent—our Father and Mother. How can we even fathom the pain and bitterness of God the Father, who has had to face such children? Human beings have endured all manner of suffering throughout history, yet still they do not grasp this fundamental issue, which is at the root of their difficulties. What a tragedy!
God must be inaugurated as the Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother. Only then can we begin the ideal family as God’s children… The one who will have to realize this ideal on earth is the Lord of the Second Advent.”
So this teaching of God the Mother or Heavenly Mother is nothing new. Evidence suggests that this teaching didn’t even come from Ahnsahnghong but rather was the brainchild of Kim Joo Cheol. But for the sake of the article let’s continue anyway and examine.
Now that we have the origin out of the way let’s debunk it one by one.
First let’s talk about the Hebrew word Elohim.
Elohim is a masculine plural and it is a concretized abstract plural. Let me explain what that means. For example if I said “Look at the horse” how many am I talking about? 1 right. If I said “Look at the horses” I am talking about more than one. Now if I said “Look at the Sheep” how many animals am I referring to? It could be a single sheep or it could be 1000’s of sheep, you wouldn’t know how many sheep I am referring to unless I gave you more context.
The word sheep itself doesn’t change to determine plurality, but the word sheep is subject to the context surrounding it to determine the plurality. For instance if I said “I said I saw one sheep” you know for sure I am using sheep which is plural in the singular sense. If I said “I saw many sheep, or some sheep” you know I am referring to more than one. I am using the word sheep which is plural in a plural sense.
The word Elohim is exactly like that. Elohim is subject to the context around it to determine the plurality and who it is referring to. So when the bible says God is one or Elohim is one, you know God is one. But then when it talks about other Elohim or many Elohim it is referring to other God’s in a plural sense. However the only time when the bible refers to Elohim in the plural is when it is referring to false Elohim (Gods), Angels or human rulers.
Which brings me to my next point. Elohim is used way differently than we were taught. For instance if you read Psalm 82:6 God rebukes human rulers or kings, who are called Elohim. In Exodus 21 and 22 Judges are referred to as Elohim. In Psalms 8 and 82 Angels are referred to as Elohim. Also in 1 Samuel 28 the soul coming out of the earth is called Elohim.
So again there are more uses and context of the word Elohim than what we are taught. Also if you look at Genesis chapter 2 in Hebrew God is described as Yahweh Elohim or Jehovah God. You are taught “him” is plural, would you then read this Hebrew passage as Yahweh God’s or Jehovah God’s? I don’t think so.
Or you as a WMSCOG member, would say that would translate to Jehovah God’s that was the one creating everything? Are there multiple Yahweh’s? So you can clearly see Yahweh Elohim in Genesis 2 is referring to a singular God not some plural God.
Now since we are in Genesis you are asking yourself well then why does the bible say “God said let us make man in our image, who is the us?” obviously in reference to Genesis 1:26.
Good question. First thing I would like to point out is how many images were created? According to Genesis 1:27 two correct? Then why does Genesis 1:26 say “Let us make man in our image”? Shouldn’t it say “images”? Because there are two images of God right, Father and Mother? But the bible uses the word “image” instead of “images”. It appears the bible uses the word “image” which is singular to describe mankind, and the bible never says “images” which is plural. So keep that in mind.
To answer who is the “us” and “our”. It is the trinity, now before you go into the defensive position and start busting out the staff of Moses countermeasures just hear me out. What we were taught in the WMSCOG is not the correct trinity in the sense that the bible teaches or how the early church understood it.
We were taught a form of Modalism which is essentially God has different modes that he can take off at will. Essentially Modalism has the position that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are one and the same. This is not biblical and in fact this is one of the oldest heresies out there.
I am not going to go into the trinity here as that in and of itself will take a whole article to explain.
The correct view is Father, Son and Holy Spirit are God but the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are separate and distinct from each other. But for arguments sake let me show you what I mean by the trinity.
For example, we are talking about creation right? Then who was there in the creation? If we find out who all was there in the creation it should answer the “let us” right?
Let’s see John 1:1-3 & 14
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.
The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.”
So here in the beginning or creation who was there the Word and God. Obviously the word was Jesus and in verse 14 we see Jesus came from the Father. This means that the Son and the Father were there in the beginning or creation. Then where was the Holy Spirit during creation? Well let’s see Genesis 1
Genesis 1:1-2
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
Here we see that the Holy Spirit was also present at the creation. That is why the bible describes God using the terms “us” because remember according to the biblical view of the trinity the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are separate and not the same but they are all God. We literally see all three of the Godhead were present during creation.
We also see the bible describes the Holy Spirit, Son and the Father being separate. Now let me ask you this, I showed you through the scriptures to provide evidence that the trinity was present during the creation and that the Trinity is the “us” described in the bible. Can you provide me with a shred of evidence showing that Zhang Gil Jah was there at creation? You can imply whatever you want. But implications without evidence are just that, implications.
I could imply that I was the one God was talking to in creation, would you believe me? Why not? How do you know I wasn’t the one God was talking to? Were you there? You would probably want to see some evidence or scripture proving that I was there right before you believe me? Yet you don’t bat an eyelash when the WMSCOG says that Zhang Gil Jah is the creator who was there with God.
Where does it say God the Mother here in this passage was created? It doesn't exist, you are just implying it is there, but it is not. Just like I can imply the “us” is actually referring to God talking to me. There is just as much evidence here that suggests Zhang is the “us” at creation as there is me being the “us” in creation. Which is absolutely none.
Again imply whatever you want, but the text itself does not support another deity or God being present.
Now you might be thinking “Well, where did the female image come from then?” Let’s look at the verse.
Genesis 1:27
So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.
Let me ask you a question. When male and female were made in the image of God, was God described as “our” or “us” or “they” “their”? Or was God described as “he” and “him”? Sounds like the bible is using the words “he” and “him” which are singular.
So then if there are 2 God’s at creation (God the Father and God the Mother) then why is she not present when God is actually creating. If God the Father and God the Mother are the “us” in Genesis 1:26 then does it sound like one God who is alone when He is creating mankind, hence the words “in his own image” or “in the image of God he created them” are being used.
If there are 2 God’s God the Father and God the Mother who are our creators, shouldn’t the bible say something like “So God created mankind in their own image, in the image of God they created them; male and female they created them.” But it doesn’t say that it does.
Also why would Father consult Mother and say “Let us make man in our image” but then Father creates male and female alone because apparently Mother is not there when the creation was happening. Then what was the point of Father saying “let us make man in our image” to Mother, if Mother is not there to help?
Also if Mother is necessary and essential for the female image to be produced and Mother is the creator of the female image, then how is it possible for the bible to describe the female image being made by God the Father, hence the words “in his own image” or “in the image of God he created them” “male and female he created them” are being used. Seriously try to make sense of this for yourselves.
So to answer shortly the question “where does the female image come from?” According to Genesis 1:27 it comes from “His Image”. Now you might be thinking how can God, who is male, create female out of his own image? I think the better question is what is your understanding of image? I think you are taking this image a little too seriously.
Do you imply God, who is spirit, has male gender parts, a twig and berries if you will. What use would God have for sexual reproductive organs? You know who believes that? The LDS.
Which brings us to our next point.
Revelations 4:11
“You are worthy, our Lord and God,
to receive glory and honor and power,
for you created all things,
and by your will they were created
and have their being.”
Now here the WMSCOG teaches something like “We see God’s will is in creation, then what is God’s will in creating Mothers? It is to give life. It is the same spiritually with Heavenly Mother.” or “Physical Mothers are just a shadow of our Spiritual Mother.”
Let’s also see.
Hebrews 8:5
They serve at a sanctuary that is a copy and shadow of what is in heaven. This is why Moses was warned when he was about to build the tabernacle: “See to it that you make everything according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.”[a
Here the WMSCOG says that things on this earth are a copy and shadow of Heavenly Ones. This means that our family on earth is a copy and shadow of what is in heaven, then what is our family consist of on earth? Father, Mother and Children. It is the same spiritually.
There is so much to dissect here and I kind of don’t want to but here it goes, please forgive me as it will be a bit blunt, if I'm not I don’t think I will wake you up. You teach that just as we receive life from physical Mothers on earth, it is the same spiritually as in it is the same way with Mother and that just as we are born from physical mothers we are born from our spiritual mother.
In fact everything from birds, plants and animals receive life from a mother. Because remember the family system on earth is a copy and shadow right? Do you realize what you are suggesting? I don’t think you do.
Let’s look into that a little bit. If I am married, how do I start a family? I have intercourse with my spouse and through fertilizing the egg with my sperm she becomes pregnant, my spouse then carries the child for 40 weeks and then gives a painful birth through shedding blood and amniotic fluid as the baby passes through her cervix.
This is how life is given on earth. Are you going to suggest that this is what takes place in the spiritual world? Are you really suggesting that God the Father and God the Mother have spiritual sexual reproductive organs, not only that but Father and Mother come together through intercourse, Father fertilizes the egg, Mother carries the child and then it passes through her spiritual cervix?
If this is not what you're implying or saying then why do you say “How life is given on earth is the same as it is in heaven?” or “The family system on earth is the same as it is in heaven” or “Mothers on earth are a shadow of Heavenly Mother”. If Mother gives life differently in heaven then how mothers give life on earth, why even bring these things up or make these examples and connections?
Then it means mothers on earth are in fact not a shadow of Heavenly Mother, it also means Mother gives life differently than physical Mothers which defeats the whole argument in the first place.
Also if heavenly Mother gives life different then how our physical mothers do, how is she our Mother if she doesn’t indeed give birth to us? Is she our adoptive Mother? Do you normally call women who don’t give birth to you “mother” in the sense that this person or mother gave you life? I don’t think so.
Before you think this is crazy or I am mocking you or something, just know that I was raised in the LDS church and I was literally taught that God has sex in heaven to produce spirit children and that when I get married in the temple I can have endless spiritual sex in heaven with my spouse to produce spirit babies and populate planets. Also the LDS is far bigger than the WMSCOG so just keep that in mind.
The family system theory has another flaw to it. The WMSCOG teaches that the family consists of Father, Mother and Children right? That what is on earth is in heaven to right? So what about Grandparents? Uncles? Aunts? Cousins? Nieces? Nephews? Etc. Are they not family? Are they not blood related to you? What about them? Do we have heavenly grandparents? Heavenly uncles? Heavenly aunts? Etc.? No? Then how is the family system a copy and shadow of what's in heaven?
Think about these points seriously.
The WMSCOG loves to use the following verses saying that it points to Heavenly Mother.
John 6:39-40, 54
“And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me, but raise them up at the last day. For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.”
Now verse 54
“Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.”
The church will say “Why does Jesus say eternal life will be given on the last day? It is because Mother (Zhang Gil Jah) who is the source of life appears? Jesus could have given them eternal life, but he said on the last day life is given.”
There are so many things that are wrong here. First, this has nothing to do with Mother, why? Because it doesn’t say in the scripture. I could argue the reason why Jesus didn’t give eternal life 2000 years ago and waits until the last day is because I appear and those who give me $1000 will have eternal life and I would have just as much evidence and the WMSCOG to back it up. Which is none.
Second reason this is wrong is because Jesus did in fact give eternal 2,000 years ago. That is the whole point of his coming. To give us sinners eternal life, otherwise seriously what was the point of Jesus coming if Mother is the one who actually gives you eternal life in the last days?
Apparently Mother can forgive sin without shedding blood, she can pay for sin without dying, she can give eternal life as well, she is the Most Holy place that carries our sin the list goes on and on. Then seriously what is the point of anything Jesus did?
Third reason this teaching is wrong is because Jesus is simply talking about the resurrection of the righteous that we see in Revelation 20. But in order for you to be resurrected into life you must receive eternal life from Jesus. That is the whole context of this passage, it is specifically referring to the resurrection. It has nothing to do with God the Mother.
Now you might be thinking, how does God give us life then? Let’s ask Ahnsahnghong.
Mystery of God and the Spring of the Water of Life chapter 26 (heavenly edited English only) entitled “The soul made of God’s breath of life.” I mean the title alone gives us the answer but let's read anyway. Ahnsahnghong writes and I quote.
“Among Moses’ records concerning the creation, the record of the process of God’s creating Adam and Eve contains the truth about this world and the world before creation. Now, let's study how Adam was formed. As it is written:
Genesis 2:7
Then the Lord God formed a man[a] from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.
The above verse shows that a man became a living soul as God breathed into his nostrils the breath of life. The breath of life from God is a living soul. God’s breath, the breath of life, is not the same as human breath: whatever God breathes his breath into, it becomes a living soul. Jesus showed us this kind of thing on the evening after his resurrection. “He breathed on them and said, ‘Receive the Holy Spirit’” John 20:22. God’s breath, the breath of life, is a molecule coming out of his creative power. So we call all the angels or the spirits “the sons of God” and we call God “the Father of our spirits” Hebrews 12:9 or “our Father who is heaven.” Myriads of angels in the universe are created with the living breath of God.” End quote.
Here according to Ahnsahnghong, we came to live when God breathed into our nostrils the breath of life, in fact all the angels and creation receive this living breath of God and become living souls. I don’t see any mention of some sort of spiritual intercourse with a Mother God deity or that a spirit Mother gives birth to spirit babies, in fact Ahnsahnghong seems to be under the impression here that God the Father is the only one needed to give life, hence God the Father’s breath is the breath of life and everything God’s breath of life enters becomes a living soul.
Now something that we absolutely must talk about is the Water of Life. The WMSCOG drills into their members' heads that Mother is the source of the water of life. Where do they get this concept from?
Ezekiel 47:1-12
The man brought me back to the entrance to the temple, and I saw water coming out from under the threshold of the temple toward the east (for the temple faced east). The water was coming down from under the south side of the temple, south of the altar. He then brought me out through the north gate and led me around the outside to the outer gate facing east, and the water was trickling from the south side.
As the man went eastward with a measuring line in his hand, he measured off a thousand cubits[a] and then led me through water that was ankle-deep. He measured off another thousand cubits and led me through water that was knee-deep. He measured off another thousand and led me through water that was up to the waist. He measured off another thousand, but now it was a river that I could not cross, because the water had risen and was deep enough to swim in—a river that no one could cross. He asked me, “Son of man, do you see this?”
Then he led me back to the bank of the river. When I arrived there, I saw a great number of trees on each side of the river. He said to me, “This water flows toward the eastern region and goes down into the Arabah,[b] where it enters the Dead Sea. When it empties into the sea, the salty water there becomes fresh. Swarms of living creatures will live wherever the river flows. There will be large numbers of fish, because this water flows there and makes the salt water fresh; so where the river flows everything will live. Fishermen will stand along the shore; from En Gedi to En Eglaim there will be places for spreading nets. The fish will be of many kinds—like the fish of the Mediterranean Sea. But the swamps and marshes will not become fresh; they will be left for salt. Fruit trees of all kinds will grow on both banks of the river. Their leaves will not wither, nor will their fruit fail. Every month they will bear fruit, because the water from the sanctuary flows to them. Their fruit will serve for food and their leaves for healing.”
The WMSCOG teaches that this is referring to Mother and that she is the New Jerusalem temple and the source of the Water of Life. Does it mean that?
Let’s simplify this passage a little bit. There is a temple that has water coming out of it, the water level keeps rising and those that receive this water live and the ones who reject the water dies, there will also be fruits that grow from trees that will serve for food and healing.
Then is this talking about Mother or someone else? Well let’s check scripture and see.
First thing we must understand is what is the Temple according to Jesus?
John 2:19
Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days.”
They replied, “It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and you are going to raise it in three days?” But the temple he had spoken of was his body. After he was raised from the dead, his disciples recalled what he had said. Then they believed the scripture and the words that Jesus had spoken.
According to the words of the bible, Jesus himself is the reality of the temple. Then when Jesus came what did he do?
John 7:37-39
On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.”[c] By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified.
Jesus fulfilled Ezekiel 47 perfectly. The prophecy said that the water of life would flow from the temple right? Well water of life flowed from Jesus 2000 years ago. Not only that but where was Jesus when this took place? Jerusalem. So 2000 years water of life did indeed flow out from Jerusalem through Jesus giving the water of life. What else needs to be fulfilled in Ezekiel 47 that Jesus didn’t fulfill 2000 years ago?
Also we too can be the temple of which the holy spirit flows.
1 Cor 6:19
Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;
Also Jesus said those who believe in him will have living water flowing from within them. It doesn’t mean that they are the source of living water, but that they have water of life and are able to share it to others.
Just like Ezekiel 47 prophesied to us that Jesus the reality of the temple comes and gives the disciples his teaching or water of life, then the disciples spread the gospel which would then spread to the whole world and everyone that accepts the gospel will live even though they are dead. Does it mean the disciples are the source of living water?
No, but they do have living water and are able to share it with others so that they too can live though they are dead. This is a very gracious principle in scripture.
Like let's say I am hungry, I find the one who can make me a meal, that person then makes more food and tells me to take it and share it with everyone who is hungry and wants it. Doesn't mean I am the source of the food, but I have authority to give it to others from the one who made it.
Let’s look at Zechariah 14 and instead of just reading verse 8 we are going to read the surrounding verses so we can see the context.
Zechariah 14:1-9
A day of the Lord is coming, Jerusalem, when your possessions will be plundered and divided up within your very walls.
I will gather all the nations to Jerusalem to fight against it; the city will be captured, the houses ransacked, and the women raped. Half of the city will go into exile, but the rest of the people will not be taken from the city. Then the Lord will go out and fight against those nations, as he fights on a day of battle. On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half moving south. You will flee by my mountain valley, for it will extend to Azel. You will flee as you fled from the earthquake[a] in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the Lord my God will come, and all the holy ones with him.
On that day there will be neither sunlight nor cold, frosty darkness. It will be a unique day—a day known only to the Lord—with no distinction between day and night. When evening comes, there will be light.
On that day living water will flow out from Jerusalem, half of it east to the Dead Sea and half of it west to the Mediterranean Sea, in summer and in winter.
The Lord will be king over the whole earth. On that day there will be one Lord, and his name the only name.
Now we must understand when is the time frame of this event? Well the passage said that the Lord will fight against the nations, there will be an earthquake and when God appears with all the holy ones and there will be no distinction between day and night and living water will flow out from Jerusalem.
Also Zechariah tells us that this day is known only to the Lord. Now let's look at scripture to help us understand what is going on. First, when does this earthquake occur?
Revelation 16:18-19
“The seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and out of the temple came a loud voice from the throne, saying, “It is done!” Then there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder and a severe earthquake. No earthquake like it has ever occurred since mankind has been on earth, so tremendous was the quake. The great city split into three parts, and the cities of the nations collapsed. God remembered Babylon the Great and gave her the cup filled with the wine of the fury of his wrath. Every island fled away and the mountains could not be found.”
When the seventh angel poured out the seventh bowl and the voice from heaven said “it is done!” the earthquake occurs.
Then what happens after the earthquake? According to Zechariah 14 the Lord appears with his holy ones, essentially to wage war against the nations.
Revelation 19:11-15
“I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and wages war. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.”[a] He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty.”
So this is when the second coming Christ actually comes. I am not going to go into detail about that here, if you are interested I have a whole article talking about that.
Anyways Revelations is describing when Christ comes again in glory with his holy ones. We can see a similar expression from the words of Paul.
2 Thessalonians 1:6-10
“God is just: He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you and give relief to you who are troubled, and to us as well. This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels. He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might on the day he comes to be glorified in his holy people and to be marveled at among all those who have believed. This includes you, because you believed our testimony to you.”
Here again we see the Lord appearing with his holy ones just like Zechariah described.
Then according to the prophecy in Zechariah 14 it says on that day that there will neither be sunlight or cold or distinction between day and night. Now let’s examine this now.
Revelation 21:1, 22-23
“Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,”[a] for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.”
“ I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp.”
Here the bible describes the ushering in of the New Heaven and New Earth, on that day the bible says there will be no night or day for God and the Lamb will be the light. Just like how Zechariah prophesied in Zechariah 14.
Also according to Zechariah, God said “It will be a unique day—a day known only to the Lord.”
Does this passage sound familiar? Let’s see some verses.
Matthew 24:36
“But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.”
Then what does this mean? Jesus is actually giving you reference to his coming by using the expression “no one knows the day or the hour”. Let me explain.
The Hebrew idiom that refers to the Feast of Trumpets also known as Yom Teruah. Then why was the Feast of Trumpets put in place? It was a time period of introspection or a wake up call for God’s people or a call to return to God. Then how is this significant?
Well if you remember in Revelation there are the 7 trumpets that sound in preparation for God to come to the earth. Each trumpet blast appears to be followed by some disaster designed to humble the people and bring them to repentance.
Also the trumpets figuratively have the meaning of repentance.
Anyways the point is here the day or hour of Judgement is unknown, but Jesus referencing the Feast of Trumpets ultimately referring to the 7 trumpets in Revelation is extremely fascinating.
But the point is Zechariah’s prophecy as we have clearly seen until now has definitely not been fulfilled by Zhang Gil Jah. But let’s keep going just to be sure.
Now let’s read Zechariah 14:7-8 again.
“It will be a unique day—a day known only to the Lord—with no distinction between day and night. When evening comes, there will be light.
On that day living water will flow out from Jerusalem, half of it east to the Dead Sea and half of it west to the Mediterranean Sea, in summer and in winter.”
Here on the day that only the Lord knows and the day where there is no distinction between night or day, is the same time frame where living water flows out from the city Jerusalem.
Now let’s see.
Revelation 22:1-5
Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him. They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever.
Here we can clearly see almost the exact same scene as Zechariah chapter 14. Then when does this water of life flow from Jerusalem? On the day there is no more night or day and we will reign forever and ever with God.
Also known as the day God ushers in the New Heaven and New Earth, where He will wipe every tear from our eye and for older order of things has passed away etc. That is the day living water will flow out from Jerusalem.
Now with all that being discussed. Please explain to me how Zhang Gil Jah is the fulfillment of any of this?
