Mother God Doctrine Debunked - Part 2

You might still be thinking “well she is the bride that gives water of life in Revelation 22:17.”
Let’s take a look.
Revelation 22:17
“The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.”
Now is the bride the giver of the water of life according to Revelation? Because remember the WMSCOG teaches that in our age Mother is the source of the Water of Life and they also teach that Revelation is referring to the Age of Holy Spirit, keep that in mind, let’s see Revelation 21.
Revelation 21:6
“He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life.”
According to this verse, who gives water of life? It is God, specifically according to Revelation 21 it is Lord God Almighty and the Lamb.
Then why is the bride or this female deity not mentioned here when the bible tells us who the direct source of the water of life is in the age of the Holy Spirit?
Now I know about the argument “Well if the bride in Revelation 22:17 isn’t the source of the water of life how can she say “Come” to receive water of life?” The answer is in the same verse.
Let’s read it again.
Revelation 22:17
“The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.”
The bible says “Let the one who hears say “come!”. Then are you going to insist that someone who hears and says “come” is also God who is the source of water of life? That is your argument about the bride.
Also the passage tells nothing of the bride being the source or giver of water of life. That is just the loaded language the WMSCOG uses. The passage merely says that the bride says “come” just like those who hear also say “come”.
We just saw in Revelation 21 that God the Father alone is the sole giver of water of life. Not some other female deity. Also what do you as the WMSCOG say to people? You also say “come receive the water of life”, are you implying you are God then since you said “Come”? It makes no sense.
The bride is the church, the church invites people who have not heard of God yet to come to God, then those who hear also say “come” to the thirsty to receive living water from God. That is all that it means.
Also can you show me a verse where it explicitly describes the bride as God in any way shape or form? The only verse that gives us any indication of who the bride is Ephesians 5:24-27 and 2 Corinthians 11:2 that indicate it is God’s people.
Then can you show me a verse that even hints or says that Bride is God or a God the Mother figure? Please post in the comments where this verse is, I would love to see it. Again you can scripture hope and splice things together, you can also imply whatever you want. But implications without evidence are just that, implications and have no bearing on reality.
I know the WMSCOG will probably be screaming “Dual Meaning, Dual Meaning”!
Here is the problem though. You show how the word “lamb” has multiple meanings. You show John 1 how Jesus is described as the Lamb of God and then show John 21 where people of God are described as lambs. But you actually show the verses that literally say what you are trying to get people to believe.
Then you show 2 Cor 11:2 showing that the bible literally says the bride is the Church, but when it comes to proving Mother you change your method half way and say “The wife of the Lamb in Revelation can only refers to heavenly Mother” while merely referencing Rev 19:7 21:9 and 22:17 and not showing a single passage or verse that says or even hints at that conclusion.
You show 2 verses proving that the bible literally says the Lamb is both Jesus and people of God. But then you show 1 Cor 11:2 which literally says the bride is the church and then don’t show any scripture where it says in the bible that the bride is literally God or a female deity? You don’t even follow through with your own argument.
How can the “bride” have dual meaning like the word “lamb” if you only show one context (the bride is the church) through actual scripture but then instead of showing the other so called dual meaning through scripture (the bride is God or heavenly Mother) you just imply what the text is saying instead of showing an actual verse or passage.
That is a terrible and incomplete argument. To correctly present the argument you would have to show 1 Cor 11:2 and prove the bride is the church and then provide another verse showing that the bride is explicitly stated as being God or a female deity. But the WMSCOG doesn’t provide that, instead that just implies what they want the text to me. Again, implications without evidence are just that, implications.
Would this type of argument hold up in court?
Imagine someone accused you of a crime and their evidence was just based on implications such as “well you could have” or “well there is no evidence you didn’t do it” and then the judge convicted you for that crime without any evidence that explicitly proved you did the crime. Would you say that is a good justice system? Would you like to be taken to a court that operates that way? I don’t think so.
Then why do you allow the WMSCOG to do this with scripture that can have eternal consequences if you wouldn’t allow that sort of methodology to be in our justice system.
Please think about it seriously.
Look at the staff of Moses Chapter 1. The only verse they show in that chapter is where it literally says what the verse actually says. Then notice how they don’t show any verses showing the bride is God the Mother or a female deity but rather it is just simply implied.
Now if we are going to base truth off of what can simply be implied through scripture, then it would mean every church is true because you could literally imply whatever you wanted through the scripture, which is what some churches do.
Then if you can just simply imply what scriptures say and that is the truth, how do you know if that is what the truth really is? Now you might be saying, “That is why it is essential to receive Ahnsahnghong who is the Root of David, only he can reveal what the real truth is.”
With this subject I wholeheartedly agree with you. I just hope your words don’t come back to haunt you at the end of this article because I will hold you to it.
Nevertheless they still say “How can the Bride say come receive water of life? If the Bride isn't the giver or the source?” Well, let's say your dad made dinner and when it was ready he comes to you and says let's go tell your siblings dinner is ready.
So you and your dad go tell the rest of your family to wash up, it's time for dinner. Does that mean you prepared it or are the source of the dinner? No, you simply knew that dinner was ready and told your hungry family members who didn't know where and when to get the food. If you were a dishonest person you could say you made the dinner when you really didn't and steal the credit you don't deserve.
Or take a grocery store for example, there can be an ad in the paper to come buy some apples from the story that are on sale for $2.99 a bag. Does that mean the story grew or harvested the apples? No, odds are someone else grew them, the story received them and now they are trying to sell them. But the store can say come buy apples even though they didn't do anything to grow or harvest them.
Then maybe someone buys a bag and really likes the apples and tells others to go to the store and buy a bag as well. Again that person didn't grow or harvest the apples, just bought them, liked them and told others where to get them.
That is the basic function of what is happening in Revelation 22:17.
Also in the beginning of every sermon, the announcer says “now Missionary or Elder so and so will come and deliver the precious water of life from Father and Mother” or if it's in the morning we would say “Now we receive the precious water of life from Father and Mother through a video sermon”. This proves that the WMSCOG clearly understands this principle but yet they still make this nonsense claim.
I know you are probably resorting to, “well what about the heavenly wedding banquet? The bride can’t be the church and the guests at the same time, the bride isn’t invited but the inviter.” Ok, fair point, let’s analyze.
Matthew 22:1-14
“Jesus spoke to them again in parables, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a king who prepared a wedding banquet for his son. He sent his servants to those who had been invited to the banquet to tell them to come, but they refused to come.
“Then he sent some more servants and said, ‘Tell those who have been invited that I have prepared my dinner: My oxen and fattened cattle have been butchered, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding banquet.’
“But they paid no attention and went off—one to his field, another to his business. The rest seized his servants, mistreated them and killed them. The king was enraged. He sent his army and destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
“Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding banquet is ready, but those I invited did not deserve to come. So go to the street corners and invite to the banquet anyone you find.’ So the servants went out into the streets and gathered all the people they could find, the bad as well as the good, and the wedding hall was filled with guests.
“But when the king came in to see the guests, he noticed a man there who was not wearing wedding clothes. He asked, ‘How did you get in here without wedding clothes, friend?’ The man was speechless.
“Then the king told the attendants, ‘Tie him hand and foot, and throw him outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’
“For many are invited, but few are chosen.”
When you have time I would highly recommend comparing this to Luke 14:15-24 as they are very similar.
First thing we need to do is understand some of the ancient Jewish culture. The parents of the betrothed would write a marriage contract, the bride and groom would sign it and be considered married. Then the bride and groom would remain living separately with their own families until the ceremony as the groom's job would be to get the living situation for the couple established. When the groom completed this task, he would return to the bride without notice, they would have a ceremony followed by a feast.
In ancient Jewish culture a wedding banquet was a very joyful occasion, if you don’t believe me you should watch Fiddler on the Roof, sometimes the Jews party for a week.
Now back to the parable, the kingdom of Heaven is like a joyful event of a wedding feast. Specifically the King and his son. Who in this context is God the Father and His son Jesus Christ. Jesus asked his servants and the disciples to spread the good news, the invitation to this feast. The invitation was initially to Israel. But what happened?
Those that were invited refused to come, in fact the disciples who brought the joyful message of the wedding banquet were mistreated or killed. Then God the King sent an army to destroy Israel because of their sin in 70 AD. Because of this the wedding feast was open to anyone and everyone. The invitation to the wedding banquet extended to the Gentiles.
That is the context of the parable. It has nothing to do with some sort of Mother God. But I know the WMSCOG says “Well the bride isn’t here because it wasn’t time for her to be revealed yet.”
Now let’s move on to Revelation 19:7
“Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear.”
Now let’s rewind really quickly, the WMSCOG teaches that Ahnsahnghong came first for a few reasons. 2 of those reason’s is to expose Babylon “False Mother” and then to reveal Zhang Gil Jah “True Mother”. Essentially like Solomon who revealed the true mother in 1 Kings 3:16-28.
According to the WMSCOG the year the bride aka Zhang Gil Jah made herself ready and the wedding of the lamb had come is 1984 just before Ahnsahnghong death. In short the year 1984 is the year of prophetic fulfillment of Revelation 19:7. These implications or doctrines as far as continuity is concerned does not match scripture.
Let me explain.
Revelation 19:1
“After this I heard what sounded like the roar of a great multitude in heaven shouting:
“Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God,”
Here we see the expression “after this” then the bible proceeds to describe things taking place such as the bride being ready and the wedding of the lamb has come. Meaning the Bride was revealed and the wedding banquet occurred right after something without any breaks or cracks in the timeline.
Otherwise John would not have said “after this”. Then what occurred before Revelation 19? Obviously Revelation 18? Then what is that chapter about? It is about the Fall and Destruction of Babylon.
Then if Babylon is the Roman Catholic Church, according to scripture it should be fallen and destroyed before the bride is revealed and the wedding of the lamb has commenced.
But the Roman Catholic Church is still alive and well, in fact it will definitely outlast Zhang Gil Jah considering she is in her 80’s. In 1984 when the wedding of the lamb occurred and the bride was revealed did anything happen to the Roman Catholic Church? I don’t think so.
You might be thinking well it was spiritual judgement or spiritually fallen? Really what proof do you have of that occurring? In fact if you google “is the Catholic Church gaining or losing members”, the result is they are gaining members.
Revelation 19:3
“And again they shouted:
“Hallelujah! The smoke from her goes up for ever and ever.”
If you say that this is some sort of spiritual judgement or falling I have a question. What is the reality of the smoke from her going up forever and ever? If not the actual judgment of Babylon. I am very curious.
Clearly the bridge should be ready and the wedding of the lamb should come after Babylon is destroyed, not before.
But that is not all that is wrong with the WMSCOG insistence. Let’s see what happens in Revelation 19 after the bride is ready and the wedding of the lamb has come.
Revelation 19:11-18
“I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and wages war. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.”[a] He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written:
king of kings and lord of lords.
And I saw an angel standing in the sun, who cried in a loud voice to all the birds flying in midair, “Come, gather together for the great supper of God, so that you may eat the flesh of kings, generals, and the mighty, of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, great and small.”
So after the wedding of lamb has come and the bride is ready the rider on the white horse appears and wages war against his enemies. Then if the bridge appears first and then the rider on the white horse appears later, wouldn’t it make more sense for Zhang to reveal Ahnsahnghong in this case?
Not the other way around. In fact Revelation 19 is the complete opposite of what the WMSCOG says. They say Ahnsahnghong comes first as the rider of the white horse to reveal Babylon then reveals the bridge just before he dies. But Revelation 19 says that Babylon is destroyed then the bride is revealed and finally the rider on the white horse appears to fight the enemies of God. That is nothing like what the WMSCOG teaches.
But you are welcome to believe what you want, however the WMSCOG teaching is not biblical.
Now I am not going to talk much about the New Jerusalem or the Holy City. I will actually be reading what Ahnsahnghong himself wrote about it himself, as I agree with the Root of David on this one and he hits the nail square on the head with his book. So we will get into that later in the article.
What I do want to focus on is Eve. The WMSCOG claims that Eve is God the Mother Zhang Gil Jah basically by using 2 arguments. First is that Eve is the Mother of all the living, second is an instance that Adam and Eve were considered one, thus when God is referenced as one it actually means do just like Adam and Eve are considered one.
About the first point.
Genesis 3:20
The WMSCOG says “This is referring to Mother because Mother is the life giver and is the Mother of those who will never die”. The WMSCOG also says ‘If this was talking about physical Eve the bible should say “Eve should become the Mother of all those that sin and come to die”’.
This is a very weak argument at best.
First point. Why is Eve called the mother of all the living? Well because she gave birth to live children. Yes we do come to die eventually, but what happens before we die? We live don’t we? Does the bible say that Eve is the Mother of all those who live forever?
Or does the bible say that Eve is the Mother of those who will never die? No it doesn’t. It simply says she is the mother of all the living, because she had children and her children lived. The bible doesn’t say that Eve’s offspring will never die.
Second point: is “living” in the context of physical life or spiritual life? Personally I think Genesis 3:20 is just referring to Eve being able to bear living children as the first woman. But let’s examine it anyway. If Genesis is referring to something other than physical life, it still fits.
Let me explain.
Matthew 22:31-32
“But about the resurrection of the dead—have you not read what God said to you, ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’[a]? He is not the God of the dead but of the living.”
Now here is the question. When Jesus said these words, was Abraham, Isaac or Jacob physically alive? No, so you can still be considered living even if you are physically dead. Now Abraham, Isaac and Jacob come from the lineage of Adam through Seth. So yes you can be considered living even if you are spiritually dead. So technically speaking physical Eve can still fit the alleged prophecy of being the mother of the spiritual living.
Plus if Mother is the Mother of those who never die, then why do members in the Church of God die? This argument of whether Eve is referring to just Eve or somehow Zhang Gil Jah changes nothing. Eve’s offspring physically came to die.
Mother’s spiritual offspring still physically come to die in the church, so then how does Mother fulfill the Mother of the living if her still children still come to die physically? What is the point of even making this argument?
If the mother of all the living is referring to spiritual life, it is still fulfilled by Eve because her literal physical offspring were called “the living” even though they were dead as we just read in Matthew 22:31-32. This argument makes no sense and there is no necessity here for Zhang Gil Jah to even be relevant here.
About the second argument. Let’s see some verses.
Romans 5:12, 17
“Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned—”
“For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!”
Now let’s see
1 Timothy 2:14
“For Adam was formed first, then Eve. And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner.”
And lastly let’s see Genesis 2:23-24
“The man said,
“This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh;she shall be called ‘woman,’ for she was taken out of man.”
That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.”
Ok so the WMSCOG put these verses together to try to justify why they believe God is two even though the bible clearly describes God as one. First they say the bible describes Adam sinned and through him all humankind come to sin and die, but actually Eve sinned first.
Meaning Adam is representative of Eve, even though they are two the bible describes them as one, when it appears Adam acted alone, Eve was actually there with him. Thus justify when the bible says God is one, or the Father is one, it means even it seems Father acted as one, Mother was there beside him but just wasn’t mentioned.
This is a vile misuse of scripture.
Let me explain now.
We need to read Romans 5 again.
Romans 5:12-14
“Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned—
To be sure, sin was in the world before the law was given, but sin is not charged against anyone’s account where there is no law. Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam, who is a pattern of the one to come.”
Here the bible describes sin entered the world through Adam, and death through sin. How? Verse 14 gives us the answers. It is because Adam sinned by breaking God’s command. What was God’s command?
Do not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Then why is Eve not mentioned here? In Genesis Adam was the only one that God says those words to. In fact Eve was not even created when God told Adam to not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
Let’s see.
Genesis 2:15-22
“The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. And the Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.”
The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”
Now the Lord God had formed out of the ground all the wild animals and all the birds in the sky. He brought them to the man to see what he would name them; and whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name. So the man gave names to all the livestock, the birds in the sky and all the wild animals.
But for Adam[f] no suitable helper was found. So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man’s ribs[g] and then closed up the place with flesh. Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib[h] he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.”
This means that Adam was put in charge to watch over Eve, since she was his suitable helper and she was created for him. We can infer that Eve only heard the command from Adam and not from God directly. Adam was the one who passed on the command from God to Eve. That is why we see the following.
Genesis 3:1-5
“Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?”
The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’”
“You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman. “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”
When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.”
Here we see the serpent asking Eve if she was sure if God did indeed say that, why? Because she wasn’t there when God said those words but heard the command from Adam.
But then Eve gets tempted by the serpent and then gives some to her husband who was there with her. Adam was there and failed to stop or protect Eve from being deceived since Adam was the one who heard the command to not eat from God directly and was in charge of Eve.
What is worse is that even though Adam heard the command from God directly he still ate it. That is why Adam is blamed directly for that fall of man and not Eve.
In short, considering how Paul wrote Romans, Eve is not blamed for breaking the command because Paul must have understood that Adam was the one who received the command from God directly and failed to do his duty to protect Eve.
That is why Paul puts the blame on Adam and not Eve.
So the WMSCOG insistence on Adam and Eve being one in Romans 5 is wrong.
Then what about becoming one flesh?
Genesis 2:23-24
“The man said,
“This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called ‘woman,’ for she was taken out of man.”
That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.”
Now what is this talking about here? When you become married do you literally become one or metaphorically become one? Let’s say you get married and become one body and let’s say you and your spouse want to go on a vacation abroad which requires an airplane.
How many tickets do you have to buy? One or two? Obviously it is two because you and your spouse are still individually two separate people aren’t you? Then when God buys a ticket to travel? How many tickets does he buy? Well the bible says God is literally one God and only one, meaning God is individually one. Then He only buys one ticket doesn’t he?
Then the question becomes now, how do we know when God is talking metaphorically or literally. It is through the context of the passages. How do we get the context? Through reading entire chapters or even books of scripture.
If you pick up, let's say for example “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone” and flip the book open to the middle and read a couple sentences, do you think you can grasp the whole story?
Do you think you can understand the context that is being presented to you? No, you can’t. If you read the whole chapter you can get a vague view and possible guess at the overall story, but the best is to read the whole book and put all the pieces together according to how the author meant for it to be read.
But unfortunately the WMSCOG takes tiny portions of scriptures and molds their doctrine around what they want those scriptures to mean. That is not how to understand or read scripture.
This is what is called eisegesis, which means to interpret one's own ideas, biases or agendas into it. Basically making scripture fit into a doctrine that the scripture had no business being in in the first place.
Also what does “united to his wife” and “becoming one flesh” mean?
1 Corinthians 6:15
“Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ himself? Shall I then take the members of Christ and unite them with a prostitute? Never!”
So here we can grasp the context that to unite with one another or become one flesh is referring to sexual intercourse. Which again would imply that if we are going to say that Ahnsahnghong and Zhang Gil Jah are united and are one flesh based on Genesis 2:24 just like Adam and Eve it would imply… you know… I really don’t want to get into that again so please finish my thought for me.
So you can see how extremely problematic this Mother God doctrine is and it simply just does not work with scripture in any shape or form.
Again if you want to really believe that Father and Mother unite and come together spiritually in order to give you life, go for it. Just know that it is not biblical and it is pretty weird if you really think about it.
Last thing before we get into Ahnsahnghons writings is the insistence that Mother is the Most Holy Place. The reason for this is because they say that Mother is the Holy City Jerusalem coming down out of Heaven which is cubed, meaning the dimensions of height, length and width are equal just like the Most Holy Place in the temple. Meaning the Most Holy Place that is in Heaven comes down as Zhang Gil Jah.
If that is indeed the case, how can you explain this verse?
Hebrews 9:11-14
“But when Christ came as high priest of the good things that are now already here,[a] he went through the greater and more perfect tabernacle that is not made with human hands, that is to say, is not a part of this creation. He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, thus obtaining[b] eternal redemption. The blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkled on those who are ceremonially unclean sanctify them so that they are outwardly clean. How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death,[c] so that we may serve the living God!”
So according to WMSCOG teaching Mother is the Most Holy Place which is the Holy City Jerusalem coming down out of Heaven in Revelation 21. Then please explain to me how Jesus entered her? Seriously I am very curious what the response is to this, leave it in the comments below. I have no idea how to even debunk this one because I don’t really know how to even understand it in the verse place.
Since we are on the subject of the temple and Most Holy place, let’s talk a minute.
The WMSCOG says that the sanctuary from the outside looks like just one sanctuary but inside there are two parts. Then since the sanctuary has two parts, the holy place and the most holy place it proves that God has two parts namely Father and Mother, just like an egg has 2 parts, the whites and the yolk. So even though God looks like he is one, God is actually 2, just like if we were standing outside the sanctuary we would only see one sanctuary and not know there are actually 2 parts.
I am going to quote from a great article from “encountering-ahnsahnghong.blogspot” that makes this type of teaching very problematic.
The author writes and I quote.
“The temple represented God's presence with His people. And it was in the Most Holy Place, where the Ark of the Covenant was kept, where God said His presence would appear in the cloud above the Ark (Lev. 16:2). If the WMSCOG's analogy were true, why were there not TWO Arks of the Covenant so that both rooms in the temple would have God's presence in this way? No, there was only ONE.
Also, if the temple represents God because Jesus said, "Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days," speaking of His body (John 2:19-21), then what about 1 Cor. 6:19, "Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you...?" Does that mean we also have "two parts inside" since the temple represents us as well?” end quote.
I couldn’t have said it better myself.
Last thing I want to talk about is the forgiveness of sins aspect which is a very big deal in the WMSCOG. They teach that Mother forgives our sins and pays for our sin.
However, what is the wage of sin? Death according to Romans 6:23. Then how can Mother pay for my sin if she is alive and well? Also in Hebrews 9:22 says that without shedding blood there is no forgiveness. Then how can Mother pay for sin if she has never shed blood?
Now you might think “She pays for our sin spiritually, by burning herself to ashes on the Third and Seventh Day.” Ok, then why did Jesus have to physically die for our sin then? Why couldn’t he have just paid for it spiritually?
Also if Mother does indeed forgive sin, but the wages of sin is death. Then does it mean that the sin she forgives doesn’t require death since she doesn’t have to die for our sin? If that is the case then what kind of atonement is that?
What sins did Jesus pay for that Mother didn’t? Why did Jesus have to physically die to pay for our sin but Mother doesn’t? Why did Jesus have to physically shed flesh and blood to forgive sin but Mother doesn’t?
Now that Mother is getting old, when she does pass away the WMSCOG will probably say something like “She had to die because she is carrying our sin and the wages of sin is death.” Well that is a completely new teaching because I was taught that she forgives my sin through spiritually being burnt to ashes on the Third and Seventh Day.
Also can you really say that Mother dying of old age is the same as Jesus being crucified on the cross? Where are the biblical references or prophecies that a. Mother God exists b. This Mother God comes in the flesh c. this Mother God pays for our sin d. This Mother God gets old and dies old age.
Please show me in the scriptures this prophecy or those verses. You can imply whatever you like, but show by scriptural references that say that or even allude to that. They don’t exist.
With all that being said. I am going to do something the WMSCOG is terrified of. Let’s see what the Root of David has to say about this Mother God doctrine shall we?
I am going to read the whole preface and some excerpts of certain chapters of Ahnsahnghongs book entitled: “The New Jerusalem and the Bride: Interpretation on the Women’s Veil”. I will leave links in the description for you to read this book.
Now I already know that if you are a WMSCOG member you are pulling the “Um-soo-in stole fathers notes out of his bag that he prepared to reveal Mother” or “The fact that there is false Mother proves that there is true Mother.” or “Father recalled this book after the Um-Soo-In issue subsided and the NCPCOG is evil for still having this book”.
All I have is one question, where is the evidence for your claims? Where are these alleged notes that were stolen from Ahnsahnghong’s bag, surely Ahn would have recovered them right? If the WMSCOG provides those notes, the case is closed.
For instance when the baptism date for Ahnsahnghong leaked from the SDA church registry, all of a sudden there was a bible that allegedly had Father’s handwritten note saying “I was baptized in 1948”. So surely those notes have to exist right? Why has the WMSCOG not produced those alleged notes that were stolen?
Also if Ahnsahnghong recalled this book, why is there no handwritten note or signature or declaration of any kind proving that his book was indeed recalled? Ahnsahnghong who is God clearly would have known that the NCPCOG would have kept his book without his permission and would have left some evidence to show that it was indeed his wish to have that book recalled right? Just like how he knew that his baptism date would come into question and left the note in his bible about his baptism date right?
Also you say the fact that there is a false Mother there must be a true Mother. But where is a single shred of evidence that Ahnsahnghong said Zhang Gil Jah is God the Mother? If he is the root of David and is Elijah who is to prepare the way for Mother, why is there no written statement, declaration or evidence of any kind proving it?
You might be thinking about all the myriad of videos that you have seen about this matter, “Father’s sacrifice heard from Mother” or other propaganda videos. But those videos are reenactments with actors. Is that really what you are going to consider evidence? Would that kind of evidence hold up in a court of law? If there is a court that allows that to be considered evidence, I pray to God I never end up in that court.
Anyways you are more than welcome to believe what you want about this book. I guarantee you that you won’t even listen to the chapters I am going to reference here in this book. You probably feel nervous and don’t want me to read this book to you outloud.
But this is your Root of David who you claim is God in the flesh and restored salvation to humanity, why do you feel a certain way about reading this book? Can’t see how wrong that is? Why are you nervous or worried about reading Ahnsahnghong writing? Why do you need permission to read his books? Is he the root of David or not? Are his words God’s words or not?
Anyways let’s dive into it. We will start with the preface of this book.
Ahn writes and I quote.
“This booklet was published to prevent troublemakers who misinterpret and behave fanatically, explain the errors in the books that Um Soo In published and testify of the unchanging truth of the Church of our God.
Our Church of God was founded by all of the prophecies of the prophets and our Church of God is a church in which any faults cannot be found even if an attempt was made to do so. In spite of this, women like Um Soo In have caused a great problem to arise with her corrupt ideas and how can they be forgiven? They have spoken insolently with their own lips and through books and have spoken corruptly by interpreting the Book of Revelation as they please. What will become of their sin? It is not a small problem. They will continue on in their stubbornness and will be captivated by Satan and will gradually acquire more misguided ideas and will eventually be led by Satan into the way of destruction. It is now almost impossible for them to escape from the pit of ruin. It is truly difficult as they can only possibly be able to return if they completely cast away their arrogance and pride and repent and turn away from their sins.
Believers who are across the nation, this occurrence is a great lesson for all of you. You must take special care not to be deceived by these corrupt people ever again. The cause of these incidents is criticism of the Church and slander of leaders. Criticism of the Church and slander of leaders can be an invitation for Satan to enter our hearts. When Satan enters our hearts, it is difficult for us to escape the snares of Satan even if our spiritual condition is excellent. We can only survive if we adamantly repudiate a person who criticizes and slanders the Church and its leaders. We will at this time study each of the errors that are in the books that Um Soo In wrote.”
Now let’s read the last portion of Chapter 1 entitled “Only those who are written in the Book of Life”
Ahn writes and I quote.
“We must not be deceived by the Um Soo In group and, according to what is recorded in Isaiah 4:3-4, we must act with caution and remain as we are so that our names that are written in the Book of Life do not become blotted out. God has said that if it is bound in the Church (written in the Book of Life) it will be bound in Heaven (it will be written in the Book of Life of Heaven). If is is loosed in the Church (expelled) then it will be loosed in Heaven (expelled from Heaven) as well. All those who have fallen aside by believing in the words of Um Soo In have been expelled so they will be blotted out of the Book of Life in Heaven as well.”
Let’s also see Chapter 7 entitled “The Jerusalem in Heaven is Our Mother”
Ahn writes and I quote.
“Um Soo In speaks as if she is out of her mind when she claims that the New Jerusalem is herself. They use the following verses to support their claims:
【Galatians 4:22-26】「For it is written that Abraham had two sons, one by the slave woman and the other by the free woman. His son by the slave woman was born in the ordinary way; but his son by the free woman was born as the result of a promise. These things may be taken figuratively, for the women represent two covenants. One covenant is from Mount Sinai and bears children who are to be slaves: This is Hagar. Now Hagar stands for Mount Sinai in Arabia and corresponds to the present city of Jerusalem, because she is in slavery with her children. But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother. 」
They use this passage to assert that Um Soo In is our mother who has come down from Heaven. Um Soo In truly believe that Hagar is the earthly Jerusalem while Sarah is the Heavenly Jerusalem. The only reason that the Apostle Paul wrote Galatians 4:22-26 is to clarify that the history of the family of Abraham is a prophecy.
【Galatians 4:24】「These things may be taken figuratively, for the women represent two covenants. One covenant is from Mount Sinai and bears children who are to be slaves: This is Hagar. 」
This is a prophecy of the Old Covenant and the New Covenant. Hagar refers to the Law of Moses received on Mount Sinai and the Israelites of the flesh of the earthly Jerusalem while Sarah refers to the New Covenant that Jesus Christ established in the Mark’s attic and the spiritual Israelites. The Apostle Paul is speaking of the Heavenly Jerusalem.
Nevertheless, Um Soo In claims that she is the Heavenly Jerusalem and that she has come down to earth. According to the prophecy of Galatians 4:22-24, Sarah is the Heavenly Jerusalem. However, if the New Jerusalem is Um Soo In, she has then married her son. The reason for this is that Isaac is the son of Sarah, and it is said that Isaac is also Christ. (Gal. 3:16)
Um Soo In has then become the mother of Christ as well as the bride (wife) of Christ.
Um Soo In states that I am Isaac with weakness of sight while claiming that she is Sarah, who is the Heavenly Jerusalem. She is then saying that she will live with Isaac who is her son. How extremely scandalous is this? With this type of misguided delusion, she has become a false prophet and has attempted to gain power. Please think of what will become of her sin and the sin of those who follow after her. (Isa. 9:16)”
Let’s move on to Chapter 10 “The Heaven of Grace which is forever.”
Ahn writes and I quote.
“As Um Soo In is saying, the Heavenly New Jerusalem has come down to earth now and our Church is Heaven at the present. Nevertheless, there were many people who have died in our church and there will be many people who will die in our church as well. A place where people die is not the everlasting Heaven. It is written:”
Ahn then quotes the following verses Ephesians 2:5-8, Colossians 1:13-14, Hebrews 12:22-24, Revelation 14:1-5, Isaiah 33:20 & Luke 22:7-20.
Then Ahn writes.
“This Heaven of grace is a place where all die. The 144,000 saints will die and will be transformed and they must be resurrected in order to enter Eternal Heaven.”
Now let’s move on to chapter 11 “Regarding entering eternal heaven”.
Ahn writes and I quote.
“If one studies I Corinthians 15:50-53 and I Thessalonians 4:15-17 together, it can be seen that everyone must experience the eternal resurrection during the Last Days. In addition, it is written as follows concerning the New Heaven and New Earth.”
Ahn then proceeds to quote Revelation 21:1-2, Isaiah 65:17-18 and 2 Peter 3:12-13. Then he writes the following.
“All of the above Scripture refers to the time when we will encounter the Eternal Heaven as the New Heaven and the New Earth and also the New Paradise.
However, Um Soo In is stating that the New Heaven and New Earth is here now and the New Jerusalem is living now on this earth. Nobody except someone who is not in their right state of mind can believe and follow after this. Please think of this carefully.”
Let’s move on to chapter 15: “A study on the New Jerusalem of Revelation 21”
Ahn writes.
“The bride of the Lamb are the 144,000 saints who have accepted the Gospel. In addition, it is stated that there is an actual tabernacle (New Jerusalem) that the Lord has prepared.”
Now chapter 16 “She claims to be the only bride”
Ahn writes.
“Let’s read the Bible passages that Um Soo In uses to claim that she is the only bride. If the matter at hand proves to be false, we must know that everything that she says is false. Um Soo In refers to the Biblical passage of Revelation 22:17.
Um Soo In claims that she is the bride in the passage “The Spirit and the Bride say, ‘Come!’.” Furthermore, it is incredible that Um Soo In says that the voice in the passage “and I heard a loud voice from the throne” is Um Soo In herself.
The Throne of God is a place that only He abides and the Lamb of God is at the right hand of God. The loud voice coming from the throne cannot come except from the Lamb of God. Nevertheless, the fact that Um Soo In arrogantly states that she has made the loud voice reveals that she is extremely mentally ill.
These arrogant words were written on pages 22-23 of a book that Um Soo In has published.
Then, we must seriously examine whether the words that Um Soo In has spoken are true or false. If what she has claimed is not true, it is an obvious act of blasphemy and both her and her followers will not be able to escape great punishment (reference Isa. 9:16).
Next, let’s examine the Biblical passages on the issue of the bride.
It is written that “the Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come!'” (Rev. 22:17). It is true that the bride here is the same bride found in Revelation 21:9-10. Since it is written, “Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb,” the wife of the Lamb is the saints.

Therefore, just as the prophecy of the bride, the bride stands for the New Jerusalem in Heaven and the New Jerusalem stands for the 144,000 saints.
The 144,000 saints are all brides and the bridegroom is the New Jerusalem. The New Jerusalem is spoken of also as the Tabernacle of God (reference Rev. 21:3) and this tabernacle was prepared by the Lord 1,900 years ago (reference Heb. 8:1-2).
When this tabernacle (reference Rev. 21:3, 9-10) comes down to this earth, it will be 1,000 years after the world has ended. [Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.]
When continuing to examine Revelation 20:1-15 carefully, it is seen that the prophecy will come to pass 1000 years after the world has ended. Nevertheless, the prophecy of Revelation 21:1-10 is mentioned falsely as if she is speaking the prophecy with a loud voice in pages 22-23 of a book that she has published. There cannot be such an insolent act like this.”
Now let’s look at chapter 17 entitled “A curse is received by making and offering to the Queen of Heaven.”
Ahn writes and I quote.
“Um Soo In fulfills the prophecy of the Jeremiah by claiming that she alone came down to this earth from the New Jerusalem and that people must serve her in order to receive great blessings.
【Jeremiah 7:18】「The children gather wood, the fathers light the fire, and the women knead the dough and make cakes of bread for the Queen of Heaven. They pour out drink offerings to other gods to provoke me to anger.」
Um Soo In claims that she is the only bride, the new heavens and the New Jerusalem. Through this, she becomes a queen and she receive tithes that should be given to Melchizedek. She raises herself up as if she is greater than God.
How arrogant and insolent an act is this? How long will God be patient with her?
【Jeremiah 7:18-20】「The children gather wood, the fathers light the fire, and the women knead the dough and make cakes of bread for the Queen of Heaven. They pour out drink offerings to other gods to provoke me to anger. But am I the one they are provoking? declares the LORD. Are they not rather harming themselves, to their own shame? ” ‘Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: My anger and my wrath will be poured out on this place, on man and beast, on the trees of the field and on the fruit of the ground, and it will burn and not be quenched. 」
This prophecy is said to refer to the Roman Catholic Church worshipping Mary but it becomes more clearer evidence against Um Soo In.”
Last but not least let’s look at Chapter 19 “The claim of the Woman is the temptation of the Devil”.
Ahn writes and I quote.
“There is never a time when the activity of Satan is cut off in the true Church. The Apostle Paul has written as follows that the Devil will utilize women to cause confusion inside the Church.
【1 Timothy 2:11-14】「A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent. For Adam was formed first, then Eve. And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner. 」
Through the prophecy of I Timothy 2:11-14 mentioning Adam and Eve, it is evident that this prophecy was made without doubt of our Church during this present time.
By observing the claims of Um Soo In that she is Eve, it can be seen that it was stated that “a woman should learn in quietness and full submission” and “I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet” looking ahead to when Um Soo In (the woman) would claim that she is the bride and the New Jerusalem that has come down from Heaven. By seeing that it was said of Adam and Eve in Genesis that “for Adam was formed first, then Eve” and “Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner,” it is clear that it is a prophecy of Um Soo In. It is a prophecy that if the claims of Um Soo In (the woman) are followed the Church will come to ruin under the deception of the Devil.
In other words, whenever a woman makes assertions in the Church, the Church will fall under the deception of the Devil.”
End of quote. By the way this book was published twice, the second publication was October 20th 1983. Now remember that the coming Passover would be April 25, 1984 would be the time of Ahnsahnghong’s alleged revealing of Mother.
So why would Ahnsahnghong write and publish a book that completely annihilates the Mother God doctrine 6 months before he is going to reveal a God the Mother.
Again I would highly recommend to anyone who is in the WMSCOG to read this book in its entirety since it is the Root of David’s own hand. If you don’t want to or you are scared to or are told not to, then it means you don’t really think that Ahnsahnghong is the Root of David, as it is written:
Luke 6:46 “Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say?
I am honestly really grateful to Ahnsahnghong for publishing this book and allowing me, a sinner, to realize the falsehood he was so eagerly trying to warn me about. Without Ahnsahnghong I never would have been able to leave the WMSCOG and would have continued down the path of destruction believing in a false God that Ahnsahnghong warned even with tears would appear in the church.
I honestly am indebted to him and I hope that I can follow in his footsteps, take up his mantel and make everyone realize this blatant heresy. I really hope this articles makes him proud and I am able to continue his legacy and fight the WMSCOG who constantly tarnishes what he was trying to build.
They turned Ahnsahnghong into God when he said he wasn’t, they turned Zhang Gil Jah into God when Ahnsahnghong clearly refuted the Mother God heresy. I feel so sorry for Ahnsahnghong and what the WMSCOG has done to him and to his family and his reputation.
Don’t you remember what you said in your head earlier in the blog post “That is why it is essential to receive Ahnsahnghong who is the Root of David, only he can reveal what the real truth is”. I told you I am holding you to it. Before God and man are you going to deny the words of the Root of David himself? Choose wisely.
But what is the deal with the Passover situation then?
There is a video done by COGJW link at the end of the article, go give them a follow, now the COGJW is the original Church from which the NCPCOG and WMSCOG broke off.
They give us a good look into what really happened at the Passover in 1984. Link will be at the end of the article.
Now considering that the WMSCOG has been known to lie and lie and lie, I am going to put the events together and you can decide whether to believe the WMSCOG’s story or what the actual evidence suggests.
Um-Soo-In got crazy with her interpretations and proclaimed herself as God the Mother who is the Bride which is clearly heretical. Ahnsahnghong wrote the book to refute her claims and said Woman like Um-Soo-In are trouble makers and that it is the unchanging truth of the church of God that there is no God the Mother, that the teaching of God the Mother is scandalous, the 144,000 are the bride and the New Jerusalem is the place the 144,000 will dwell.
Then kept the Passover in 1984 in the wedding hall because Ahnsahnghong taught that the wedding ceremony is between the saints and Jesus which is why he kept the Passover in a wedding hall.
Ahnsahnghong let Missionary Zhang Gil Jah pray the closing prayer which happens all the time even to this day, nothing special. Then later Ahnsahnghong passed away suddenly in 1985 and all of a sudden Zhang Gil Jah is proclaimed the Bride by the General Pastor and the WMSCOG goes off the rails and tries to hide all the evidence that refute their lies and false claims.
Or are you going to believe the WMSCOG story of what happened that has literally 0 evidence except a few videos that involve hearsay, reenactments with actors or a fuzzy polaroid that has Ahn and Zhang standing together in white clothes with literally no context except what the WMSCOG wants us to believe about it.
I also might add that there is a fuzzy polaroid with General Pastor and Zhang Gil Jah together, each wearing white clothes, are then going to imply that they are fulfilling some sort of spiritual wedding? Think about this seriously.
Also if you look at “The Mystery of God and the Spring of the Water of Life” chapter 24 “The complete and incomplete” page (156-157 7th edition English only) you will see the 6 day creation illustrations. I won't show the WMSCOG version because they will take the blog post down or content claim me, but go ahead and turn to it so you can see the illustrations.
This is another example of the WMSCOG changing the Green Book. On the screen you will see the original drawing from the original book Ahnsahnghong published. Notice how there is only one throne of God that clearly has male only figure sitting on that throne, but in the edited Green Book the WMSCOG gives to its members there are two thrones with a male and female deity sitting on those thrones.
Considering everything we have discussed this far and that the WMSCOG admits Mother removed three chapters of the original book and your Green Book has had multiple editions, who do you think has the real 6 day creation? I will let you decide that for yourself.
Now at the end of all this, if you are not going to listen to the words of Ahnsahnghong and consider the evidence set before you and just continue believing the lie, what will convince you? You don’t even believe the words of the Root of David that He said there is no God the Mother. What about Kim Joo Cheol’s writings? Surely you will believe him right?
Let me also refer to Kim Joo Cheol’s own handwriting that says Zhang-Gil-Jah is not the bride.
As you can see, from General Pastor’s own hand he testified that there is no Mother God and the 144,000 saints are the bride. I mean if you don’t believe the bible, if you don’t believe Ahnsahnghong’s own writing, if you don’t believe Kim Joo Cheol’s own writing. What else is there for me to show you?
Well do you remember the how in the video the WMSCOG shows you when Father said that Mother should produce a black Hangbok, the church says Father was prophesying about his death and that Mother is going to basically were the black Hangbok when he died, essentially black Hangbok is what is worn to a funeral in Korea.
Well I found photos of Ahnsahnghong’s funeral service, I find it very interesting that neither Kim Joo Cheol or Zhang Gil Jah seem to be in attendance. Why prepare a black hanbok for Fathers prophesied death? But not wear it at the funeral or even be at the funeral graveside service? To be fair maybe they got stuck in traffic or were ill that day, it is possible. It is also possible that maybe the alleged insistence of Father telling Mother to prepare a black hanbok never happened.
You might be saying. Well Mother is the secret of the seven thunders, Father mentions here in the preface. Or what about the vision of the deer coming down out of heaven? Let’s analyze that now as well. Well I found those original writings of Ahnsahnghong and I had my friend who lives in South Korea translate them for me.
He made a very amazing article on his website that does a deep dive into both of those claims and translates the writings into English. I put a link in the description so you can go and check it out for yourself.
Essentially the WMSCOG adds the gender “she” to the child but if you actually read the original writings the child who is described is actually genderless. Also the WMSCOG only shows you a small part of the passages and not all of it, I know you are probably shocked at this point.
So please check out the article in the link in the description, my friend did a fantastic job and I am very grateful to him for doing that.
Now the last thing I will leave you is the infamous I follow Mother quotes that the WMSCOG loves to use and take out of context. I will post a link in the description where Ahnsahnghong son Ahnkwangsup talks about what his dad was really trying to say when he said “I follow Mother”.
Essentially the Mother he was referring to is the New Covenant. Ahnsahnghong was simply saying he follows the New Covenant represented through Sarah the free woman because as you know the New Covenant was spoken from Heaven not on the earth, the women are figurative not literal.
That is all, not some Mother's deity but go watch the explanation from Ahns son and make your own decision on what Ahnsahnghong was trying to say.
Conclusion, based on the evidence I can confidently say that there is no God the Mother in the Bible and it is a blatant lie and it is a dangerous heresy as Ahnsahnghong clearly stated multiple times in his writings.
